Assalamu Alaykum & Ramadan Mubarak:
As we’ve entered the blessed month of Ramadan, we are reminded of Allah’s words:
“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of mankind.” (Qur’an 5:32)
This sacred month is a time of mercy, compassion, and multiplied rewards. It is also a time when we are called to uplift those who suffer silently.
Across underserved communities, thousands of men, women, and children live in unnecessary darkness due to preventable and treatable blindness. A simple cataract surgery – often costing less than a family’s weekly groceries – can restore sight and dignity.
Through your generous support, our eye care charity has been able to:
Provide life-changing cataract surgeries
Deliver critical eye treatments and medications
Conduct community outreach eye camps
Restore independence to the elderly
Give children the ability to see, learn and thrive
This Ramadan, we invite you to multiply your reward by sponsoring cataract, retina, glaucoma surgeries, cornea transplants and eye cancer treatments.
Your Zakat and Sadaqah can transform darkness into light.
The Prophet (SAW) said: “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others.”
We humbly ask you to support our mission this Ramadan with your most generous gift. May Allah grant you barakah in your rizq, accept your charity and make it a means of light for you in this world and the Hereafter.
With heartfelt gratitude and duas,
Sincerely,
Tahir Zafar

Al- Shifa Foundation of North America

Every day a child is enabled to see their mother for the first time – bringing joyful tears to all, vision is restored to jobless youths thus enabling them to become earning members of the family, and scores of elderly are helped to live their lives happily and independently.
At Al-Shifa, we help retrieve the colors of life! “Yes I can see,” this was the spontaneous response of Mutalli, who was recently restored vision after a successful operation at Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital. Please donate generously and make a difference in changing the lives of thousands of needy patients.
