Abdul Qadir

Meet Abdul Qadir from Peshawar, a brave two-year-old battling blindness alongside his two elder siblings. Their father, a laborer, who barely runs the kitchen expenses. He struggles to afford treatment for his three blind children. Fortunately, Tahir Zafar, CEO of Al-Shifa Foundation of North America, informed of their situation and swiftly referred them to the esteemed surgeons at Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital for free treatment. Not only did they receive free medical care, but they were also provided with support of transport from Peshawar to Rawalpindi. They were shouldered all of their living expenses during their treatment course, ensuring they could experience the blessing of sight without any burden.

Abdul Qadir’s mother and uncle were overwhelmed with gratitude for the generous support that enabled his youngest child to receive the precious gift of sight.
