Abeeha

Little Abeeha from Sargodha faced significant problems with her vision and hearing. She was then diagnosed with Usher Syndrome, which is a genetic disorder characterized by hearing loss and vision loss due to retinitis pigmentosa. Upon a referral, she visited the Low Vision Rehabilitation Centre / Lighthouse at Al-Shifa Trust, where she received visual aids for her near and far-sightedness. With the help of various devices, she can now continue her studies and live an independent life.
